GRINDELWALD SKI CLUB, USA Past Events:

Service Auction -- GSC's biggest fund raiser of the year. All kinds of services offered by our members and auctioned off. To name a few: Vacation accommodations, gourmet home cooked meals, tennis, golf, and chess lessons, floral arrangements, services, i.e., "maid for a day". This event is held every September

Pismo Beach -- GSC's fun annual summer event for adults and children. Members and friends reserve camp sites many months before the event. Some stay for 3-5 days while others come up for the weekend. There are prizes for the best Clam Chowder, Sand Sculpture, and Tent Beautiful. A BBQ steak and chicken dinner is served on Saturday evening.

2001 to Grindelwald Switzerland for their 100th Anniversary.

Others (but not all): Luau (held each summer), Day at the Races, Chili Cookoff, annual ski trip to Lake Tahoe in March, Bavarian Club (celebrating Octoberfest), Halloween Party, Valentine's Party, Snow Gala, Ski Dazzle, and all the parties and gourmet dinners that are bid on at the Service Auction.

Some on-going activities: Sking, hiking, biking, boating, bridge, etc.
